I walked into my office to find this little monster sitting on my desk, in her diaper, with these glasses on upside down. It was too cute! Tossed on a skirt, threw on a tie, she picked out the bow and grabbed an apple. Gotta love my nerd and her impromptu sessions!

I hate spending a lot of time planning shots and set ups because they rarely cooperate. I have learned to love whatever I can capture. I wanted so badly to get just one shot of each girl for their Valentine’s Day goodies at school. I am thrilled that I got one sweet one and one goofy one of each. And as an added bonus, they surprised me with an uber sweet sister shot! I’d call this session a success!! Now I’m not going to lie…. I TOTALLY bribed them! They each got a free trip to the “treasure box” for some candy. Hey whatever works right?!?!

I don’t think this family takes a bad picture. Littlest man was so miserable this particular evening. We even had to stop the shoot and finish it up another day because he was so unhappy. We spend an entire year helping them stay clean and then we just put this cake in front of them to destroy. During cake smashes I usually have to tell the parents to feed the baby a few bites so the kiddo knows it’s okay. In this case, I just asked the parents to join in on the whole smashing. Little Miss B took this as permission to smother her mom and dad! I looooved being able to photograph this. So much fun!
