As you browse around you will see a combination of my personal and professional life. Why? Beacuse it's my life. It's who I am. It's what inspires me.

Every day my daughters do something incredibly funny, scary, strange and new. I tell myself daily that I will always remember that moment... fully knowing I will forget it the next morning (a.k.a. "mommy brain"). It is this exact reason that Cherished Memories Photography was created. The sole purpose of my studio is to capture the moments you said you would never forget.

Let me just say that it isn’t easy to photograph my own kids. I hate spending a lot of time planning shots and set ups because they rarely cooperate. I have learned to love whatever I can capture. I wanted so badly to get just one shot of each girl for their Valentine’s Day goodies at school. I am thrilled that I got one sweet one and one goofy one of each. And as an added bonus, they surprised me with an uber sweet sister shot! I’d call this session a success!!Now I’m not going to lie…. I TOTALLY bribed them! They each got a free trip to the “treasure box” for some candy. Hey whatever works right?!?!

This session is a very very close second to my favorite fall session. I don’t think this family takes a bad picture. Littlest man was so miserable this particular evening. We even had to stop the shoot and finish it up another day because he was so unhappy. Can you tell by the pictures? No! Why? Because they just can’t take a bad picture.
